On August 18 (local time in Brazil), the smart manufacturing project of Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging Brazil Co., Ltd. officially broke ground. Located in the São Paulo metropolitan area, the project’s first phase covers an area of approximately 5,200 square meters and is expected to enter trial production in October 2026. Upon completion, the facility will serve as Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging’s manufacturing hub and strategic foothold in South America, strengthening its global industrial footprint while enhancing local service capabilities and market responsiveness.

The São Paulo metropolitan area is a major hub for the economy, industry, and the pharmaceutical sector in Brazil—and indeed all of South America—hosting approximately 60% of Brazil’s pharmaceutical companies. Leveraging the local industrial foundation and strategic location, Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging aims to deepen collaboration with South American clients and supply chain partners, delivering efficient, reliable, and one-stop high-end pharmaceutical packaging solutions to Brazil and the surrounding markets.

The project focuses on specialty glass materials and their applications, spanning sectors such as pharmaceutical packaging, heat-resistant glass, and life sciences. With pharmaceutical packaging as its core, the project continuously enhances capabilities in R&D, manufacturing, and integrated services, while actively expanding into cutting-edge areas such as glass substrates and glass-ceramics.

Upon reaching full production capacity, the first phase is projected to yield an annual output of 300 million pharmaceutical glass bottles, with production efficiency and resource allocation benchmarked against advanced international standards. The project’s implementation not only meets the growing demand for high-quality pharmaceutical packaging in the South American market but also further strengthens Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging’s global competitiveness in the fields of specialty glass and pharmaceutical packaging.
Unlike traditional overseas capacity deployments, the Brazil project deeply integrates artificial intelligence, digital management, and smart manufacturing technologies. It drives coordinated upgrades across production, quality, operations, and the supply chain, enhancing the automation, digitalization, and precision of the production process to effectively control product quality, production efficiency, and operating costs.
The launch of the Brazil project marks an upgrade in Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging’s globalization strategy, shifting from the export of standalone products to a multidimensional model comprising an “AI-driven intelligent manufacturing system, technical standards, and localized services.” The company will bring its accumulated expertise in technology, quality, and management to South America, continuously refining its regional operational capabilities by aligning with local customer needs and industry characteristics.
In recent years, the global pharmaceutical supply chain has undergone continuous restructuring, and the South American pharmaceutical market has steadily expanded. These developments have placed higher demands on pharmaceutical packaging companies regarding regional manufacturing, supply reliability, and technical service capabilities. The Brazil project will shorten product delivery distances and enhance supply chain resilience, enabling the provision of more timely, reliable, and professional service support to customers. Since its inception, the project has garnered widespread attention and high expectations from local pharmaceutical companies and partners alike.

The official launch of the Brazil project marks a significant milestone in Linuo Pharma Packaging’s globalization journey and represents a crucial step toward building a world-class enterprise in specialty glass and pharmaceutical packaging. Moving forward, the company will use Brazil as a new starting point to continuously refine its R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service systems across South America. By integrating into the local industrial ecosystem and driving innovation in specialty glass materials and pharmaceutical packaging, Linuo aims to deliver high-quality packaging solutions to the global healthcare industry, backed by advanced intelligent manufacturing and a comprehensive global service network. Transitioning from “Made in China” to “Global Intelligent Manufacturing” and from exporting products to exporting entire operational systems, Linuo Pharma Packaging will continue to expand its global footprint and write a new chapter in its international development.
